Lisa stuck with us for over two years as we looked for our perfect house. She was patient as we looked at literally every new listing in town every month. She finally found us the perfect house and helped us negotiate a fair deal under very challenging conditions. She helped us understand what we really wanted, and most importantly what we really did NOT want in a house. Lisa was always available to show me homes. When I was not available she showed potential homes to my sister. She discussed the pros and cons of each and kept me apprised of what was coming on the market. Lisa was very helpful in suggesting local contractors and services as well. Additionally, she and her assistant were on top of all the administrative processes necessary to prepare for settlement. Most of all, Lisa was always positive, honest and easy to work with. I'd recommend her to anyone. It was an excellent experience. She still stays in touch and I look forward to seeing her frequently when I move to town.

Lisa was introduced to us through a work connection. Once she knew we were moving to the area and saw how the market was exploding, she reached out to me and my husband and said we needed to come down from CT ASAP, and we did. Lisa knew our needs, and showed us quite a few homes that we wanted to see, in addition to some others. Lisa was professional, thorough, ethical, accessible and her experience in the area helped us navigate the process quickly and relatively painlessly. She was always available and responded to our questions very quickly. Above all, she is one of the most personable and likeable people we have ever had the pleasure to work with. She went out of her way to assure that all inspections and consultations that needed to occur (sometimes on a 1-2 day turnaround right up to a National Holiday) did so. Finally, her connections in the area not only helped us get to settlement quickly but for those issues that we needed to attend to once we owned the house, Lisa made calls and opened doors for us with service professionals and contractors who otherwise may not have responded. She is the consumate professional wrapped in a big heart and a hearty sense of humor. We would highly recommend her!

There is a very good reason why Lisa Raffetto has a reputation for being the best realtor in Chestertown. She has an extraordinary ability to find exactly the right house for the right person. Because her family has been in Chestertown for 200 years, she has an unusual depth of knowledge of this area. As an example she found two wonderful properties for us that weren't even officially on the market. We have friends who fell in love with a house that was for sale, but they were looking for a rental. Lisa found a buyer for that house who doesn't want to live in it until she retires. Our friends are happily renting it until that day comes. I can't recommend Lisa highly enough!
